From November 17th until December 21st, 2025, we will be showing our group photography exhibition Echoes of Form at Pala Cafe in Prenzlauer Berg. The opening will take place on November 17th from 6-8pm.

Our exhibition takes inspiration from the dynamic, poetic movement of water, as described in Theodor Schwenk’s book, Das Sensible Chaos. Woven into one are the sensual and the scientific, the technical and the spiritual. As Schwenk described the fluid dynamics of water as a rhythmic dance, we reflect on our own medium of analogue photography, what its physical properties inspire in us, what magic we found in that particular chemistry and its uncanny relation to light. We feel the give and take, the push and pull between our often-conflictual roles as technicians of a mechanical process and artists of personal and emotional imagery. Our work here imagines the ever-connected interplay of those strange devices of nature, just as water moves unbeknownst to us, creating forms and patterns in our own veins.
Echoes of Form is a group exhibition by Berlin-based photographers Camila Bolatti, Chapan, Teo Moutsos and Jessica Musler. Each with our own photographic processes, our group is brought together by a shared interest in free association and early photographic techniques.
